Christmas Cookie Exchange 2012

Posted on December 13, 2012

Working on a brand new recipe for the cookie exchange.  After tasting it with a few kids, I decided to go for it as they liked it so much. Good thing it has no refined sugar, flour, or butter! And you don’t even need to bake the cookies!

I will be sharing my Raw Truffle Balls recipe at one of my upcoming cooking classes in 2013 so mommies can give their kids the treat without any guilt!

Happy Holidays!

Meditation Comes With Your Cleanse

Posted on December 11, 2012

Meditating is very healing and helpful during any detox. It helps you to get centered and appreciative of your body and soul, cleanses up your brain from busy multitasking type of thinking.

Those folks who sign up to participate in the One Week Cleanse & Renew program on January 7th, 2013 will receive this CD as a bonus material! I included my favorite meditation mix for you to help you in the cleansing process! It starts with the Tibetan singing bowl to get you out of your busy thinking and continues into relaxing Indian and Tibetan music. The singing bowls are at the end once again to have a nice finish to your session. As the bonus material there are 3 guided meditation tracks at the end.

If you would like to learn more about the One Week Cleanse & Renew program please sign up here to receive the group email. It is coming very soon!

Amazing Blood Test in Sarasota, FL

Posted on November 12, 2012

Recently I had an amazing blood test done- a dream of mine for several years. Many of the details were expected and are very comforting. However, some stuff is shocking!

The first scary thing was, I saw q

uite a bit of metal in my blood with my own eyes as the technician had it displayed on a large screen. She said most of it could be due to the fact that

I'm wearing braces now and I have had quite a bit of amalgam installed in my teeth in the past. My former dentist thought it was perfectly healthy. It's good to know, I’ve been in the process of removing all that amalgam from my mouth. I just need to start flushing out toxins that I get from wearing braces.

this is my blood thru microscope and the shiny dots

Earthing

Posted on November 12, 2012

How often do you have some ME time in a week?

This morning I was doing EARTHING for ME time - it is very healing exercise especially for those who work in front of the computer all day long. Could you find 15-30 minutes today, go to a closest park, walk bare feet and feel the earth? Another way is to do some gardening, my mom's favorite exercise. It will count as your ME time. Make a notice how you feel before and after.

Tricky Food Labels

Posted on October 12, 2012

Some food labels are complicated. If you look at the example of this seemingly harmless peanut butter, you will see it states that it has 0g Trans Fat. Is it so? It also lists such ingredients like hydrogenated oils, and mono diglycerides...

JIF-facts saturated fat.jpgHere are the facts:

• Trans Fat is Hydrogenated Oil. Partially or fully hydrogenated, this oil is created to prolong shell life of products and it consists of trans fat. It brings bad cholesterol levels up and contributes to coronary artery disease. Interestingly, the label on the picture says "0% Cholesterol"

• Mono Diglyceride is a food additive and it is also another name for hydrogenated oil. It is also used to extend the shell life of products

• The FDA allows manufacturers to claim zero grams of trans fat as long as the product has less than 0.5 gram trans fats per serving. This number adds up depending on the products you consume.

• Eating more the 5 grams of trans fat per day can increase your risk of heart disease by 29 percent
